our BELIEFS

T R I N I T Y
In scripture, God reveals himself in three ways:

> God the Father (soul)
> God the Son (body)
> God the Holy Spirit (spirit)

Jesus is the physical manifestation of God; God in the flesh. The undying love of God is revealed to us through Jesus Christ.

John 1:1-14

We believe the Scriptures are 100% God-breathed and the ultimate authority for faith and life. God's Word is living and active, revealing His character, guiding us in truth, and transforming our lives. As we wholeheartedly seek Him through Scripture, our faith is strengthened, and we find the life and hope found in Jesus Christ.

Every person has been created in the image of God (with a soul, body and spirit) and is God's desire for us to be in perfect relationship with Him. However, God is the standard for good and because man chose outside of God, it opened the door to sin. Because of sin, the perfect image we were created in has been perverted which separates humanity from God, making salvation necessary. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we are born again, redeemed by His grace, and transformed into new life.

Repentance is the act of turning from all sin to pursue Jesus. It's when you truly acknowledge your need for God and commit in your heart that you will choose Jesus over your sinful desires.

The Bad News is that man's sin separates them from God and the power of sin brings forth death -- eternal separation from God.

The Good News is that God came onto the earth in the human form of Jesus Christ for the sole purpose of living according to His standard of perfection, voluntarily dying a gruesome death on the cross and to raise from the dead 3 days later with all power over sin and death. Any man who puts his faith in Jesus as their Lord (master) and Savior will receive everlasting life; being redeemed back to the Father--  an eternity with God.

The church is not a building -- it is the body of Christ. Jesus is the head, all of His children make up the body. Essentially we are the hands and feet of Christ on earrth as He has entrusted His power to us. We are called to make disciples (followers) of Christ. We are to lift each other up in prayer, encourage each other, love each other, rebuke, teach.

Ephesians 2:19-22, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Ephesians 4:11-12

Water baptism alone does not save one's soul however it is a powerful declaration of your faith and commitment to Jesus.
