Pastor Christopher J. Pittman Sr. is a preacher, servant, teacher, counselor, student, son, and father who believes the Word of God is the only authoritative source for life's issues. Focusing on being an expositor of the Word, in 1989, he was licensed and ordained as a Baptist minister by Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN, and served in related capacities since: Pastor and Overseer of The Church of Cassopolis in Cassopolis, MI for 22 years. He is now the Pastor of Historic First Bryan Baptist Church in Savannah, GA. Pastor Pittman holds two advanced degrees from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, in Counseling and Church planting, and has earned a Doctorate Degree in Divinity from Liberty University. He is recently widowed from his wife of thirty-three years, Elizabeth Pittman, with whom he fathered three children – Crystal, Christopher, and Matthew. As of February 2025, Dr. Pittman has remarried to Cecelia Kurtz-Pittman.
